What kind of events can be held at Millers Pond?
Millers Pond has become a favorite site for many special gatherings including weddings, anniversaries, and reunions.
What is the setting?
We have a beautiful, quiet country setting next to the pond with easy access and plenty of parking.

When is the Pond available?
Millers Pond is available to rent May through October. You may check our calendar for available dates.
What are the hours of operation?
The hours you may rent the site are from dawn to 11:00 PM
What kind of insurance do we need to have?
Proof of liability insurance is required. Please check with your insurance carrier for recommendations. Here is a link to The Event Helper wedding insurance. top
What are the rental fees?
Rental fees and policies are listed on our rates and policies page.
When will we get our deposit returned?
Please read our Rates and Policies page. Deposits are returned soon after the site is cleaned up and returned to pre-event condition.
What services are available?
Rental includes use of the site itself and includes the rental of
one toilet. Additional toilets and washstand are available from Ben
Toilet Rentals.
Is Millers Pond wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the pond and the site are accessible.
Are pets allowed on the ranch?
No, this is a working sheep ranch, to protect our livestock, visiting pets are not allowed.

When can we set up for our event?
You can set up the day before your event.
When can we clean-up?
You will need to have the rental site cleaned up by 2:00 PM of the following day. As stated in the rental agreement, part of your refund may be withheld to cover any unfinished clean-up fees.
Who takes care of the trash from the event?
You will be expected to handle trash collection and removal as part of your rental sit clean up. As stated in the rental agreement, part of your refund may be withheld to cover any unfinished clean-up fees.
Is there power available at the pond?
Yes, we have power available for your event, and decorative lights for after dark events.
Is there water available at the pond?
Yes, clean water, suitable for drinking, is available at the pond.

Are there restrooms?
You may arrange to have Ben toilet rentals bring toilets to your event , or you may have Millers Pond handle the arrangements.
How much parking is available?
Plenty of parking is available, if you have a large wedding or party we recommend having parking attendants.
Is there a speed limit on the ranch?
The speed limit on all ranch roads is 12 miles per hour. This is clearly posted for you and your guests.
Can we swim in the pond?
No,
swimming is not allowed at events.
Can we fish in the pond?
No, fishing is not allowed at events.
Is smoking allowed at the pond?
Yes, but is restricted to designated areas only.
Is there any overnight parking or camping?
Overnight camping is not allowed. Arrangements for overnight parking of event vehicles must be approved in your contract.
How much shade is available?
The beautiful native oak provides lots of afternoon shade. You may put up additional shade if your event is large.

No, you will need to bring them or make arrangements for chairs and tables.
How can I give my guests directions to the pond?

Yes, of course, many couples hold both the wedding and the reception at Millers Pond.
What if we are having a church ceremony?
Some couples choose Millers Pond for their reception following a Church wedding.
How many people can we invite?
The site is available for up to 300 guests.
Are chairs available for the ceremony?
No, you will need to bring them or make arrangements for chairs and tables.
When can we hold the wedding rehearsal?
Renting Millers Pond for a wedding includes time for a rehearsal the evening before if you so wish. top

Where do we put the cake?
Couples choose various beautiful locations to place their wedding cake table, visit the Photo Gallery for ideas.
Can the bride make a grand entrance?
We have had entrances of brides by carriage, fire engine, antique cars, convertibles and the photos at the top of this page shows how beautiful it can be.
Can the bridal party get dressed at the pond?
Some bridal parties arrive dressed and ready for pictures, arrangements can be made in advance for a dressing tent to be available.
Can we come early for wedding pictures?
Yes, Millers Pond is a beautiful setting to photograph your wedding, the bridal party, family photos, or even engagement photos.
Do you know of any good photographers, caterers, DJ's, cake makers, florists?
Yes, please ask for our recommendations.
